"After a short time I received a text message letting me know that brochures of suitable properties had been sent to my email address. I was shown a number of properties and it wasn't long before I'd secured the right property. Throughout the whole experience I noticed that no matter who I spoke with at DNG Flanagan Ford, they were always fully up to date in terms of where we were with the purchasing process. Which of course made things a whole lot less stressful for me!"
Impressed with the excellent communications he'd experienced throughout the whole purchasing process, he spoke with Shane Flanagan, Managing Partner at DNG Flanagan Ford who explained it was down to a new recently installed IT programme.
"When I spoke to Shane, he explained that they had recently installed a new IT system (PropertyCRM") supplied by BrokerCRM Ltd."
As Shane explained, "For an average house on our books, their might 200-300 prospective buyers who would match any given property. By using traditional methods of communication it would virtually impossible to contact everyone in a cost effective manner.
However, with PropertyCRM we can automatically text and email the brochure details, allowing quick identification of all prospective purchasers for a property. As well as this, the system allows us to track and log all actions in relation to a property, giving all staff members instant visibility on the progress of each transaction."
Managing director of BrokerCRM, Philip O'Reilly is somewhat of an entrepreneur. He created and nurtured BrokerCRM since its inception and continues to manage and develop the business today. He is an expert on the subject of CRM and has a background in finance and property.
"Reflecting the changing face of the Irish property market - which has become progressively IT based - PropertyCRM offers an all-encompassing, technology-led, client-based management solution. PropertyCRM is designed specifically for the property sector. Developed around the key principal that the client is the most enduring asset for all intermediaries, it combines the very essence of client relationship management with business management in a unique software solution," explains Philip.
The system certainly paid off for DNG Flanagan Ford and client, Paul O'Hara whose purchase has since closed, and his daughter, who passed her exams with flying colours, will be moving in shortly.
There are no special requirements to have the system installed - all you need is a normal pc and server. Costs to purchase PropertyCRM start at €3,500 or there's an option to lease the system starting at €73 per month with a maintenance and upgrade fee of €50.00 totaling €130 per month.
It's just over a year since their official launch and already the award winning BrokerCRM has a large and rapidly expanding client base. They have one award under their belt and have struck some significant partnership deals with companies such as Irish Life Assurance plc and Relay.
