BrokerCRM can provide the SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) free of charge to clients. This edition of SQL Server provides support for a limited number of concurrent BrokerCRM users, Depending on usage patterns, the SQL Server Desktop Engine is typically adequate for two to five concurrent users. Clients may implement BrokerCRM based on the SQL Server Desktop Engine initially, and upgrade later to the full SQL Server 2000 product if needed.

All versions of the SQL Server 2000 (Enterprise, Standard & Desktop Engine) run on Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Datacenter Server , and Windows 2003 Server. The SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine also run on WIndows XP Professional, WIndows XP Home Edition and Windows 2000 Professional.

Modular & Additional Requirements

• SMS messages are sent through third parties. This attracts both setup and usage fees.
• Telephony Integration is based on the TAPI standard and will work with most TAPI compatiable phone systems.
• Some administration options such as mortgage rates updating will require the MS.NET framework v1.1 (on the system administrator's workstation).
• Supported fax software will be required on workstations to enable faxing from within BrokerCRM.
• Remote access is essential to enable BrokerCRM Ltd to install & support your BrokerCRM system. This may be achieved using DSL (VPN), ISDN. Support software includes VNC (www.realvnc.com), Remote Administrator (www.radmin.com), and PC Anywhere.
